EfIUCOTOn YBCwnCW THE UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND New Zealand SENIOR LECTURER/ ASSOCIATE-PROFESSOR IN FORENSIC MEDICINE (Department of Pathology) SCHOOL OF MEDICINE APPLICATIONS are invited for the Senior Lecturer/Asso-ciate-Professor In Forensic Medicine. The Section of Forensic Medicine of the Department of Pathology has a staff of an Associate Professor and two Senior Lecturers and provides the Coronlal Pathology service for the greater Auckland area (population 950,000). The candidate must hold a medical qualification registrable in New Zealand and a higher postgraduate qualification in Pathology and must have significant previous experience in Forensic Medicine. The appointment carries with it the Headship of the Section of Forensic Medicine within the Department of Pathology. It is envisaged that the successful applicant will be designated by the Coroner for the Auckland District as one of the Forensic pathologists responsible for a significant proportion of medico-legal autopsies under the direction of the Coroner. Commencing salary will be established within the Senior Lecturer range $NZ57,800 to 5NZ73.000 per annum or Associate Professor range $NZ77,900 to $NZ85,500 per annum having regard for the qualifications of the candidate concerned.
