A Christchurch Wizard met a Tasmanian Devil when the Tasmanian roadshow arrived in Christchurch on Thursday. The “Tazzie Devil” encountered the Wizard and Alfs Imperial Army during a lunchtime stroll in the square. The roadshow, brought to the South Island by Tourism Tasmania and Taz Villas, is to promote the State. Christchurch people were able to taste the delights of Tasmania, known as the apple isle, with an apple-pie tasting at Linwood City mall yesterday. The “Aussie barbecue” will be held at the Linwood and Hornby Malls today. The roadshow, which began its travels at Invercargill and Dunedin last week, will return to Tasmania today.
