Poor response
The Christchurch City Council is disappointed at the response received from community organisations to its request for updated information for the HELP booklet. HELP has been a successful bi-annual publication, said the council’s community advisor, Mr Alistair Graham. However, its popularity was dependent on the cooperation of the many listed groups supplying updated information. “Absolutely the last date for information to be received will be August 28,” he said. Groups can contact HELP by telephoning 791-660, extension 735, or C/- Box 237, Christchurch.
HELP is a comprehensive digest of community organisations, health and welfare services, education, recreation, and Government departments.
