Murder charge
PA Auckland A Wiri woman, aged 26, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a girl, aged two, in South Auckland on July 22. The woman, who earlier appeared in the Otahuhu District Court charged with assault in
relation to the Incident was granted interim suppression of name. The police said last evening that she would appear again in the Otahuhu Court today. The girl died in Middlemore Hospital an hour after being treated by ambulance officers at her home.
