Agland lists
Agland Holdings, Ltd, a Waipukurau-based farm owning and management company, has listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. Its total land holdings amount to 14,000 hectares on which there are more than 107,000 stock units. Properties are owned on the East Coast, in Hawke’s Bay and in the King Country. A feature of the holdings is Otuiti Station, west of Tau-
marunui. This covers 1814 hectares and nearly one third of it is fully fenced.
The chairman of Agland, Mr Robert Philpott, said the company had stated in its prospectus that a farm management company would be established as part of its activities. This firm, Dowling, Fraser, Neilson and Associates, is now operating as a subsidiary of Agland.
