Road signs hit by vandals
Road signs around Lincoln have been falling victim to vandals in the last fortnight. Vandals have also shot out street lights at country intersections, probably with a shotgun. Constable Rex Hallinan, of Lincoln, said the situa-
tion had got beyond a joke. ■(. Automobile Association, National Roads Board and Lincoln street signs had been targets. Some were stolen, others just ripped from posts. Some had been removed complete with post, he said.
