Workman suffers shock
PA Tauranga ; A worker used a shovel to free his foreman who was suffering an electric shock from a pipe at Mount Maunganui yesterday.
Mr Gordon Anderson prised the Mount Maunganui Borough Council waterworks foreman, Mr Trevor Gordon, aged 37, from a pipe carrying an electric current. Semi-conscious, Mr Gordon was taken by ambulance to a doctor’s surgery. He was then taken home to rest and was later described as badly shaken.
