The person we are seeking will be self-motivated, enjoy working with people and able to operate with a minimum supervision. Experience in the newspaper industry is not essential although the successful applicant must have had experience in customer servicing or the representative field; Duties include the selling and servicing of advertising requirements to retailers within a designated Christchurch area. The Press is the largest circulating daily newspaper in the South Island and the successful appplicant will become part of that successful sales team. Field training will be given in all facets of advertising and product knowledge. Remuneration will be paid according to experience and a subsidised superannuation scheme is available after 12 months.
