CPI change to Nexus
PA Wellington CPI Containers, Ltd, an independent operating unit within Feltex’s plastics and timber group, is to change its name to Nexus Packaging Systems, the company said. A division of Feltex Plastics and Timber, Ltd, Nexus represents one of the "new generation” hi-tech Industries into which Feltex Inter-
national is concentrating its investments. Nexus will be the largest
manufacturer of pet plastic
bottles and jars in New Zealand, when the plant becomes operational in September. It also manufactures a range of plastic injection moulded products. Nexus, means “link or connection” and the company sees itself filling the bridge between the manufacturer and end user.
Nexus also operates manufacturing plants at Wellington and Christchurch.
