Greyhounds Genuine Honey top bitch

The Christchurch Greyhound Owners, Trainers and Breeders Association's top bitch of the season award has gone to Genuine Honey, which won this season’s New Zealand Championship Final at Queen Elizabeth II Park in November.
The speedy brindle is owned in Christchurch by the H.E.R. syndicate which comprises her trainer, Henry Richards, his wife, Ellen, and Mr Robin Williams.

Toe has had some exciting duels with Magic Command throughout the year, and capped it off with a win at the last meeting of the season. Predictably Magic Command was the dog of the season with 12 wins at Queen Elizabeth II Park, and in the process he established a new track record for the 560 m in February of 33.265. The outstanding black dog's owner-trainer, Ron Blackburn, was awarded the. top i trainer -. of. the season prize which is decided on the U.D.R. system.
