A.N.Z. Cargo transports to all major destinations
While there are many courier companies serving the Canterbury area, most of these courier firms are reliant on Air New Zealand (A.N.Z.) Cargo to fly their urgent packages to others parts of the country.
According to A.N.Z., by the time most of New Zealand has woken up, the A.N.Z. fleet has carried over 100 tonnes of cargo to 25 towns and cities from as far north as Kaitaia and as far south as Invercargill. Courier-Pak, Jet-x, Overnight Satchel and Freightair -r- there is always a method “tailormade” to suit differing needs. Everything from machinery spare parts for factories to vital documents and finger-print records for the police are carried by Air New Zealand Cargo. Jet-X is a service that carries pets and livestock around the country safely, promptly and reliably, says Air New Zealand. Jet-X Overnight is the overnight courier service that gives early morning delivery the next business day. It gives full door-to-door services between the 25 cities and towns in the Air New Zealand network.
On Boeing 737 s you can Jet-X up to 90kg; on Friendship aircraft, 135 kg. Even heavier weights are
carried on Boeing 767 s and Freighter aircraft by special arrangement with the local Air New Zealand Cargo office. Regular consignments are flown by Freightair. Crystal by Crown Crystal is flown regularly, as well as mushrooms from Meadow Mushrooms, which are delivered overnight in time for early morning auction. Freightair is sent on the first available flight. Courier-Pak and Jet-X
have first priority, but Air New Zealand planes normally carry all three services. Freightair can be delivered door-to-door throughout the 25-city and town network, and forwarded to country towns and rural addresses. On Boeing 737 s you can Freightair up to 90kg and on Friendship aircraft 135 kg. Heavier weights are sent Freightair on Boeing 767 s and Freighter
aircraft by special arrangement with your local A.N.Z. Cargo office. Courier-Pak was' devised for critical items that must arrive the same day to meet deadlines. It is a door-to-door delivery service available between all 25 cities and towns that Air New Zealand flies to. Complimentary durable Courier-Paks in three sizes are available to carry up to 20kg on request
