Documentary on McCahon
PA Wellington The celebrated New Zealand painter, Colin McCahon, will be the subject of a documentary to be produced by Wellington’s Meridian Film Productions. The film’s release will coincide with the Auckland City Art Gallery’s 1988 retrospective exhibition of McCahon’s work, according to a Meridian film producer, Robin Laing. McCahon died in May. The McCahon family will assist a director, Judy Rymer, a Wellington cinematographer, Bayly Watson, and Ms Laing with the hour-long documentary.
