LSD count proved
Nelson reporter A Tapawera shearer has been found guilty by a High Court jury at Nelson of supplying LSD to an undercover policeman. Roger Menlove Mortimer, aged 27, had denied the offence, which occurred at Nelson on May 15 last year. However, after a twoday trial this week Mortimer was found guilty. The jury deliberated for almost six hours before returning its verdict on Wednesday evening. Mortimer was remanded in custody by Mr Justice Eichelbaum for sentence in the High Court at Wellington on July 24.
