Robbery in street

A man, aged 69, was knocked to the ground and robbed of a bottle of liquor in Cashel Street on Saturday evening. The police said he was walking near the junction with Rolleston Avenue about 8.50 p.m. when he was struck by a hand on the back of the neck.
