Battle resolved
PA New Plymouth . The Stratford Trotting Club has won back its racing date for next season.
The race-date battle was resolved when the Stratford Trotting Club was given permission by the New Zealand Racing Authority to rate at Stratford in the 1987-88 season. The authority had caused a stir when it initially declined to approve a new season date for the S.T.C. This resulted in an urgent meeting of the club’s committee
