Teams lose points
Both Chequers and University A will, lose their points in the Canterbury senior men’s basketball competition. A meeting of the Canterbury Basketball Association oh Thursday evening decided that both teams; would not carry any, points in the competition because of their de-
lay in a previous "match.” '■ The teams appeared to want registered referees, but when one was not forthcoming. at Cowles Stadium, the match was called off. , The association’s secretary, Mr Ray Thomson, said last evening that the match would not be replayed.
