Policy challenge
PA Auckland A challenge to the Government’s free-market policies is planned in the Auckland Central seat of the Minister of Transport, Mr Prebble.
A group which calls itself Left Alternative has set a meeting for Monday evening when it aims to endorse an election candidate.
The group terms Mr Prebble the personification of Labour’s deregulated approach and maintains it can rally enough support from disgruntled voters to give Mr Prebble a fright at the polls.
