Editorial appointment
PA Whangarei A former associate editor, Mr Graeme Barrow, has been appointed editor of the “Northern Advocate.” Mr Barrow qualified solicitor who has practised law in London and Durban, joined the “Advocate” as a reporter in 1974. He became the newspaper’s editorial writer three years later and was appointed associate editor in 1982.
Mr Barrow is a director of the Nothern Publishing company and is the author of two books on rugby.
For the last 18 months he has been the Whangarei manager of the public relations consultants, Hill and Knowlton, Ltd.
