Bull sale at Temuka
AU 26 bulls offered were sold at the South CanterburyNorth Otago Simmental Club’s fourth annual sale held at Temuka on June 9. The average of $2542 was $llOO up on last year. Three bulls fetched in excess of $4OOO, the top price being $4600 for a bull from E. J. Parr, of Middle Valley, Fairlie. The Pareora Stud of I. R. Cai rd sold two bulls at $4300 and $4200 which had exceptional weights for 21-month-old cattle of 870 kg and 915 kg.
The standard of entries was high. Buyers attended from North Canterbury to central Southland. ?
