Skeggs issue finally full
PA Wellington The public share issue by Skeggs Corp, Ltd, closed finally fully subscribed yesterday. The issue was reopened after being undersubscribed at the time of its first closure on May 27.
Underwriting brokers Jordan t Sandman and Smythe said yesterday all the shares had been taken up and they would not be called on. Skeggs Corp, the diversified fishing and transport group chaired by Dunedin Mayor, Mr Cliff
Skeggs# was seeking $2O million in what brokers described as the biggest ever float by a South Island company. Skeggs Corp is expected now to list on the New Zealand Stock Exchange on June 22.
