PA - Wanganui Wellington went on a scoring spree to thrash Wanganui, 50-9, the heaviest home .defeat by Wanganui in 100. years of rugby, and a record winning margin between the two unions In a representative rugby match at Spriggens Park yesterday. Wellington piled on 26. points in the final 17 minutes of ilily and finished with eigirtßries in the easiest of victories.
Wanganui pegged Wellington ;tb~n 15-6 half-time lead but once the scoring floodgates opened there was no stepping the 1986 national first division champions. -<-For- Wellington: Mike damp.
