Pegasus Cup to Browne
A four skipped by Bert Browne (South Brighton) won the Pegasus Cup in an open bowls tournament conducted by the three seaside clubs, New Brighton, South Brighton and Sumner. Browne’s four had four wins in the play-offs on his
home green to. head off C. Flattery (Richmond), who took second place on a countback from Lance Main (Sumner). The top 16 combinations qualified for post-section play from an entry of 48.
