PA Wellington The police are continuing their inquiries into alleged irregularities in the Department of Trade and Industry’s; import licence tendering section. The Wellington fraud
squad was called in four weeks ago when it was alleged section staff were actively involved in tendering for licences or acting as go-betweens for those wanting import licences.
