Heroin charges laid
NZPA-AAP Perth A New Zealander appeared in a Perth court on Monday charged with importing heroin into Australia with an estimated street value of sAustl.3 million ($1.58 million). Allen Louis Harriman, aged 31, was charged before a Magistrate, Mr Ron Gething, at the East Perth Magistrate’s Court on five counts of importing A
heroin. He was remanded in custody to May 20. The police prosecutor, Inspector B. Grover, alleged Harriman imported 331.3 g of 80 to 83 per cent pure heroin into Perth on April 21. ; * .
