Not all the tools within the models identified above could unexpectedly discharge a fastener. In fact, there is a very low probability that any of these tools will do this. However, Senco urges you to follow the instructions in this Bulletin to avoid even the possibility that an unexpected discharge could occur and that someone may be hurt. IDENTIFYING THE TOOLS TO BE RETROFITTED: - The eight-digit tool serial number is stamped into each tool housing on the left-hand side of the housing just below the handle. The model number is also stamped in the same location. - If the first two digits are 72 to 82 inclusive and the third digit is 1 to 9 inclusive or A, B, C, or if the first three digits are 831,832 or 833, your tool may need to be retrofitted. - If the serial number ends in H, your tool may need to be retrofitted.
