Stab wounds on body
PA Auckland A Mount Roskill man found dead at his home had two skull fractures and a stab wound to the heart, police said yesterday. He was Peter David Hoey, aged 47. His body was found on his lounge floor on Friday. A man, aged 21, unemployed, of Mount Roskill will appear in the District Court at Auckland today charged with murder. The police said a postmortem examination also showed that Mr Hoey suffered a number of broken ribs and extensive facial lacerations.
