VIEWERS’ VIEWS

Sir, —How can the people of New Zealand sit back and watch programmes like “The Revenge of the Nerds” without throwing up? Who chooses such degrading rubbish thinking that it is suitable for some people to watch? The whole of our television viewing has deteriorated. Why is the worst possible swill poured out on a Saturday night? There must be someone somewhere with good taste who could choose better than we are having. Does no-one ever protest? No wonder New Zealand is becoming an unsafe place to live in, feeding our younger generations such brainscrambling garbage.— Yours, etc., A. JOHNSTONE.
