Van show lined up for Chch
A van show and drag race in Christchurch during the Easter week-end is expected to attract about 200 customised-van enthusiasts from throughout New Zealand. The New Zealand Van National will be the first event on such a large scale hosted by the Christchurch club, Vanz Unlimited, according to the group’s public relations officer, Mr Thomas Denson.
Between 60 and 70 vans will be displayed at the Manchester Street carpark on April 18 and a drag racing class for vans only will be held at the Ruapuna circuit on April 19.
