Tim’s Team takes on Tamaki

PA Auckland A Tim’s Team member, Mr Carl Harding, who has been chosen as Labour candidate for the Tamaki seat, will have the full backing of the Team, according to the leader, Mr Tim Shadbolt. “We will regard this as a semi-test for Tim’s Team,” Mr Shadbolt said. He. said his group had been considering whether "to test the waters” of national politics, and Mr Harding’s selection by Labour for Tamaki would help make a decision. Mr Shadbolt said the team was still looking for a seat to nominate a candidate to stand under the Tim’s Team banner. Mr Harding was selected by the Labour Party on Tuesday to stand in the Tamaki seat against the sitting National Party member, Sir Robert Muldoon.
