A new craze—broomball

Broomball is going to be a new craze in sport, says one of the professional coaches at the Big Apple Ice Rink, Miss Gay Le Comte.

“Broomball is a game on ice, but you don’t need to be able to skate,” she says.

“We supply all the equipment for the game *— a broom, ball, and

helmet For footwear, all players need is a pair ot sandshoes.

“It’s an absolutely hilarious game, and everyone has a lot of fun.

“Starting on May 3 a Broomball League will begin operating. Games will be on Sunday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 pjn. We’re taking enrolments now.” ?
