Visual aid for consumers

A new consumer service aid in the form of a showroom packed with readily available products will be opened at the premises of Rylock Aluminium of 211 Ferry Road, tomorrow at 9 a.m. This innovation is partly a marketing move on the part of the Rylock company to provide a venue where the public can see the versatility of their full range of products. “The new showroom is not just for showing our actual products but also to let the public see firsthand all the features the different products have,” said Rylock Manager, Mr Leo van ’t Veen. Q

Within the confines of the available area it is not possible for a total view of the extent of company activity to be provided. Rylock ' deals in products and services such as home windows, sliding doors, insect protection, conservatories, porch screens, and security applications. A growing area is also

in commercial contracts for property development. “With the showroom, however, we are aiming to show the public what you can do with your home through the use of our products,” Mr van ’t Veen said. Another topical feature the company is keen to publicise is the array of security windows, doors, screens and allied equipment such as double-catch handles on show at the new building. The display facility is matched in calibre by the service support Rylock are able to offer their customers.

“Through our company structure we are able to gain access to the work of a full-time design department, along with use of all the equipment they use,” Mr van ’t Veen said.

This design service is available to clients if required. The company produces units to any feasible specifics requested and also

turns out standardmeasure product lines. They offer a free measure and quote service, allied to a full supply and installation capacity. Their window replacement service even allows for trade-ins on old window frames. A finance package available to approved clients offers free finance for a short period and low-cost finance for longer terms. This is at rates the company considers highly competitive. “It is the lowest cost I have come across for this type of finance,” Mr van ’t Veen said.

Providing a customeroriented level of aftersales service is rated as, “extremely important,” by the company.

The new showroom will be open to the public during normal working week hours and on Saturday mornings.
