Two woodworkers and two potters are displaying their work at the Courtyard Pottery in Rutland Street. Beverley Luxton’s porcelain pieces are elegant and fine. She is from Auckland. Rosemary Thompson lives in Christchurch. She makes burnished, smoked and sawdust-fired birds. Levi Borgstrom from Auckland makes hand
carved spoons and ladles. Born in Sweden he has carved spoons since he was a child. Noeline Brokenshire is from Christchurch. She has exhibited her turned wood for 22 years. Bowls and platters are her speciality. She also makes tinyring boxes. The exhibition will begin on March 21 and continue until April 2.
