Situations Vacant SENIOR SOCIAL WORK POSITIONS DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE, INVERCARGILL WITH an Increase in established positions and restructuring of operational groups ■ this office is seeking applicants to fill three positions as leaders and supervisors of the ' following teams: ! (a) Community Development and Maatua Whangal. (b) Intake, short contact and Child Protection. (c) Generic and long term care. For all positions a Social Work qualification is desirable plus: (a) Experience in Community Development and an understanding of Maori and Polynesian culture is desirable. (b) Experience in Child Protection, Court work and intake assessment is desirable. Candidates require to have had previous Social Work supervisory experience and training or proven ability to perform at a senior level. Opportunities for on-going training and development will be provided. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
