The Council seeks to appoint a secretariat member to contribute to its multi-disciplin-ary work programme in the areas of environmental policy and administration and natural resource use. The officer will also investigate the feasibility of establishing an Environmental Monitoring Programme within the N.Z.P.C. structure, alongside the social, economic, population and other monitoring programmes. She/he will assist with the development of such a programme and provide it with research support.
