The Manager is responsible to the Trust’s Board of Directors for the management, direction, and supervision of the Trust’s activities within Board policy. He or she is required to represent the Trust to a wide range of organisations and individuals, from central government to local authorities and private landowners. Ideally, the Trust seeks a person who has a practical knowledge of administration, financial control and planning, who can work well with people and communicate both personally and publicly and who has a commitment to nature and landscape conservation.
