Linwood pupils want work
High school pupils will be out in force throughout Christchurch painting, lawn-mowing, and cleaning on March 26.
Linwood High School pupils will be out in the community on a work day to raise funds for the school.
Workday proceeds are used to buy important equipment that the school could not otherwise afford. Targets for this year include computer equipment, landscaping of the grounds, and a fence for the school pool. Anyone who can offer pupils a job is asked to telephone the school at 892-039, on week-days between 9.30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
