Burglary victim inundated with gifts
A multiple sclerosis sufferer, Mr Devon Basher, says he has been overwhelmed with gifts after publicity about a burglary last Friday night in which he lost most of his possessions.
“My faith in humanity has been restored with this,” he said. Mr Basher has been inundated with household equipment including bedding, a radio, cutlery, a microwave oven, and cash after newspaper reports about the $6OOO burglary. "I never thought I would be in a situation where I would have to say thanks but no thanks,” he said.
