Athletics time change
The start of the interclub track and field meeting at Queen Elizabeth II Park tomorrow has been delayed until 4 p.m. This has become necessary because of a clash of interests with the South Island Special Olympics for handicapped children.
The track meeting, which includes a 10,000 m event, gives athletes their first opportunity to record top performances in the wake of the New Zealand championships. It was originally scheduled to begin at 12.30 p.m. The special Olympics will continue on Sunday.
