Big drop in class will help and he should get some of this. 4 1378 Town Royal (Q) 4 E. Cain it Placed on first night, but not in contention in two other heat starts. Distance will test her. 5 1909 Cinimod Junior 5. .. . P. Ferguson it Found wanting in the heats. Speedy and good enough to get into this finish. 6 0987 Malax 6 A. Hunter it Made up a little ground when seventh to Paleface Bubble last Saturday. Good enough to win. 7 6008 Skipper Vantar 7. .. . M. Nicholas It Not impressive in heats. Others preferred. 8 0086 Freightman 8 J. Smolensk! It Went a little better when sixth to Luxury Liner last Saturday. Sound place chance. 9 4705 Quite Famous (Vic.) 9. J. O’Sullivan it Made up many lengths when fifth to Luxury Liner. Must be a leading chance. 10 8979 Horizon 10 C. de Filippi It Showed nothing in the heats. Big improvement needed.

Rothacker It Had enough to turn, but couldn’t quicken in Trotters’ Final. Looks well, but will need luck. 4 3047 Game Ebony (Vic.) 41. Lee It Broke twice early and covered extra ground to be handy for last 1800 m last Saturday. Wilted the last piece. With clean start should beat most in this field. 5 9850 Firm Offer 58. Clark it Covered extra ground last Saturday, but was beaten 400 m out. Hard to consider. 6 4666 Troppo 6S. Little It Failed to work clear in Trotters’ Final and looked unlucky. Trotting well and good enough to upset calculations. 7 5902 Jenner 7J. Carmichael It Fought well for close second to First Grade in Consolation Race. Grand stayer not without a good chance. 8 9707 Spangled Pride BF. Fletcher It No racing well enough to be given much chance. 9 1111 Tuatle 9P. Jones It Racing most generously and now unbeaten in last eight starts. Should go close to extending that sequence. 10 1054 Game Command 10 ... I. Cameron It Set pace and stopped in her heat last Saturday. This will be easier, but others preferred.

Has thrived since and looks a leading chance. 5 5425 Prince of Princes (W.A.) 5 . A. Butt it Paced opening 1600 m in Imin 56s in his heat last Sajurday before tiring a little. In form and by no means out of this.
