Hotel purchase
Tourist investment group, Scenic Circle Corp, Ltd, has purchased the Lakeland Regency Hotel in Queenstown from Hobson Group, Ltd. The directors of Scenic Circle said that the consideration for the 182-room hotel, which is also a large conference venue, included an issue of 36 million ordinary 25c shares at par to Hobson. The balance of the purchase price was cash.
