Cheap fares to Switzerland
Air New Zealand’s “European Early Bird” fare for travel to Europe during the northern summer has been extended to include Geneva and Zurich as destinations. The $2149 fare provides savings of up to $lOOl on the normal epic fare to Europe. The fare applies to travel from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch between April 1 and September 30. It can be purchased until the end of this month. Air New Zealand says Zurich and Geneva have been added as destinations after reaching agreement with Swissair for the Swiss airline to carry passengers from Singapore to Switzerland. Air New Zealand flies to Singapore twice a week. The savings of $lOOl
on the normal epic fare applies to passengers travelling to Europe in May, June or July, while people opting to travel in April, August or Septem-
ber will save $749. The fare restricts the period of stay at the European destination to a minimum of 21 days and a maximum of 180
days. A variety of other European destinations are also available. Air New Zealand Travel Centres and local travel agents have full details.
