Water-skier injured
PA ~ iimaru A water-skier knocked unconscious in a fall on a jump at lake Tekapo on Saturday stopped breathing and was revived by a spectator, the police said yesterday. Keith Green, aged 35, of Arundel,' slipped and hit his head when compelling in a jump event. He was knocked unconscious, although he wore a helmet.
Constable William Apes of Lake Tekapo, said Mr Green was given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation by a spectator after he was dragged from the lake. Mr Green was then treated by an ambulance
officer and was admitted to Timaru Hospital with head abrasions and concussion. He was reported in a satisfactory condition last evening.
