Fortuna meeting
Fortuna Corporation, Ltd, will hold an extraordinary general meeting in Auckland on February 23 to authorise the issue of additional shares and to approve financial arrangements relating to the purchase of the Atco Group in Australia. The company said that shareholders would be asked to consider the issue of up to 5 million ordinary 50c shares; the issue of up to 750,000 ordinary 50c shares to employees or to an employee share purchase scheme; and the giving of certain guarantees and mortgages by com-, panies in the Atco Group to another wholly-owned subsidiary of Fortuna, as part of the statutory requirements in Australia in relation to the financing of the purchase.
