No mail deliveries Friday
No postal deliveries will be made on Waitangi Day — Friday, February 6 — and no post offices will be open. However, there will be a 7 p.m. clearing of posting boxes, j)ost offices, and inner-city street boxes.
The Post Office also
advises that two airmail dispatches — dated December 30, 1986, and January 6, 1987 — from the United Kingdom were not received in Auckland until February 1. All registered, insured, and ordinary parcels will be specially delivered.
