Plea to save water
A plea to Heathcote residents to take a com-mon-sense approach to water use has been made by the County Engineer, Mr David May.
The ban on hosing in the county was lifted yesterday.
Mr May said the reservoirs were now “pretty full.” The water would last provided people did not overdo watering, and approached it with common sense.
