Rare marlin caught

PA Tauranga A black marlin caught off Motiti Island has upstaged other catches in a tuna big game contest run from Mayor Island. The rare 171 kg fish was the first black marlin landed in New Zealand this season. It was caught by a Tauranga angler, Mr Roy Cumberworth, from a launch at Schooner Rocks.
