Emigrants win lottery
NZPA-AFP Harrisburg A couple from Hong Kong who emigrated to the United States three years ago in search of a better education for their five children have won SUSI2.B million ($24.57 million) in the Pennsylvania lottery, a record for the state draw. Wing Por Ng, a chef
and formerly a taxi-driver in Hong Kong, and his wife Wendy, a waitress, both aged 43, received a cheque for $U5397,000 as the first of 25 annual instalments.
