Phone 389-094, or 519-296. —Advt 1987 AUCKLAND TROTTING CUP TOUR Bookings are now being taken for The Press/Air New Zealand group tour trip to the 1987 Harness World Bloodstock Auckland Trotting Cup, to be run at Alexandra Park on Friday, January 30. This tour will be escorted by Geoff Yule, Trotting Editor of “The Press.” The group will fly to Auckland on Friday, January 30, leaving at 12.35 p.m. and spend the evening at the cup meeting at Alexander Park. Saturday, January 31 is a free day in Auckland. On February 1, the party departs Auckland at 9.00 arriving in Christchurch about 11.30 a.m. Accommodation is at the South Pacific Hotel in downtown Auckland on a twin share basis. The cost is $379 per person which covers air fares, all ground travel in Auckland, accommodation for two nights (meals extra), members’ stand tickets and admission tickets to Alexandra Park and racebooks. Early advice to Mark O’Connor or Pat Doig of Air New Zealand, telephone 797-000 will secure you a place. We would urge intending members to book early for this popular trip.
