Reason to shiver
Some scouts and leaders who have been shivering the nights away under canvas have been doing so with good reason. Night-time temperatures have fallen to six degrees at least twice during the jamboree. The daytime maximum has been about 23 degrees on the site. No rain has fallen since the jamboree was opened, after the third wettest year in Rangiora during the last 69 years.
