Liquor workers’ award settled
PA Auckland Wholesale and retail liquor outlet workers are to receive a 7 per cent increase in wages and a 40 per cent lift in their industry allowance following settlement of their award in Auckland yester-
day. The settlement provides for a $6 increase in the industry allowance from $l5 a week to $2l a week. The wines and spirits award covers workers in the upper half of the North Island, Canterbury and Westland.
